The Walt Disney World Resort, or Disney World, was built in 1977 and although it was originally created to supplement California’s Disneyland, it is a world of its own and the most visited theme park in the world, with more than 52 million visits per year.

Visitors travelling to the theme parks are in for a treat! Magic Kingdom, the first park, is a family favorite and home to Cinderella’s castle. Epcot has futuristic gems and the annual Food & Wine festival which is delicious; Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers a peek inside the movies and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a must-see for the lovers of nature and wildlife. And for those that want to enjoy a cool summer attending water parks, be sure to check out Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

There is plenty of night life in Downtown Disney and the surrounding area has great options for dining and shopping with some of the best outlet malls in the United States.
