Wine Office Court, 145 Fleet Street

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese was built in 1667, one year after the Great Fire of London and is believed to be the oldest pub in London. It has a wooden bar, floors and tables and it reminds of the days when poets and literates such as Mark Twain or Charles Dickens were among its customers. The pub stands out among the rest, offering beers made in its own brewery.
