The Museum of National Antiquities shows a collection of objects from the Viking era, the Middle Ages, and the present day. Visitors are encouraged to leave something at the museum to create an archaeological collection for the future.

The first area in the museum relates to the prehistoric period and there is also a collection about the Golden Age with a total of 52 kilos of golden objects. The Viking displays, the Gothic Hall and the Textile Chamber are some of the other popular exhibitions you can visit.

Various activities related to history are organised so that visitors can get a deeper understanding of how the Vikings and other civilisations lived in Stockholm.
