Plaza Aduana, s/n, Málaga.

The Fine Arts Museum in Malaga is located in the Palacio de la Aduana, which was built between 1788 and 1829 and has a neo-classical style. The museum is located on the ground floor of the Aduana Palace and it has a beautiful indoor courtyard. The Aduana Palace is only a provisional location for the museum as the building which used to be used for the museum is currently hosting the Picasso Museum.

This palace enables the Fine Arts Museum to show a collection of its paintings as it hosts temporary exhibitions. And so, since the Museum closed its doors in 1997, it has only been able to show a small part of its permanent collection which is one of the most important 19th century painting collections in Spain.
