Soller is a small market town in the north-west of Majorca. It is located about 2 miles inland from Sóller Port and it lies in a valley and so if you like fresh air and the countryside, this is the place to go. The town is renowned for its orange groves and olive trees and it is the perfect location if you want to escape the stress of city life as you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views of the Serra de Tramuntana which surrounds the town.

Some of the most popular tourist attractions in Soller are the Torre Picada which is a watchtower and castle at Soller Port. These historical buildings date back to 16th century and were built to protect the town from pirates. The most important building in the town centre is the Parish Church of Saint Bartholomew, and other tourist attractions are the Botanic Garden, the Casal de Cultura which is a small museum and garden, and De la Sang Church which is a neoclassic church.
