Pla├ža San Francesc, 7, Palma de Mallorca

Just a stone throw from the City Hall in Palma, is Sant Francesc Church which dates back to the 13th century and is the architectural gem of the city. The most striking feature about this building is the mixture of designs which can be contrasted with the rather simple interior of the church. In one of the chapels you will be able to see Raymond Lulle’s tomb, who was the most religious Majorcan writer and philosopher and he played an important role in the history of the island.

The most important part of any visit to Sant Francesc Church is seeing the Gothic cloister as well as the beautiful flower garden which has a well.
