Calle Ribera de Curtidores
El Rastro Flea Market in Madrid is a large open-air flea market held every Sunday and on bank holidays in the La Latina quarter. If you like shopping you should make a visit to the Madrid market as you will find just about anything you are looking for. Collector cards, books, records and second-hand clothes are available, as well as paintings, jewellery and sweets. The market runs along Calle Ribera de Curtidores, where you can find craftwork and antiques; in Calle San Cayetano you will find original paintings and copies of some of the most renowned works of art.

El Rastro Market also extends to other streets and squares such as Explanada del Campillo and Plaza Cascorro. Bear in mind that this old market in Madrid is often very busy and so it is recommended to visit it in the early hours of the morning and to beware of pickpockets when walking amongst the crowd.
