If you are travelling to Ibiza by air, you will probably arrive into Ibiza Airport, also known as San Jordi, which is located 4 miles from the centre of Ibiza Town, the capital of the island. The bus company Ibiza,, bus number 10 covers the route between the airport and the city and runs every half an hour during the summer between 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., and every hour during the winter between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. There are also taxis available outside the terminal. The journey takes about 20 minutes and usually costs between € 10 and €14.

There are various bus companies in Ibiza which connect the different towns and cities on the island and are the best way to travel if you do not want to hire a car.
