The Cenobio de Valerón is a remarkable archaeological feature found in Santa María de Guía which is located in the north-west of Gran Canaria. It is the largest pre-Hispanic granary on the island and it is a great monument to visit if you want to discover the fauna and flora which is typical of this area.

It was declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest and the monument is divided into a number of large galleries. Inside you will be able to see how Canarians stored their food, as well as the tools and utensils which they used at that time.
