Gaig Restaurant is located within the Eixample district

Located at the heart of the Eixample district is the Gaig Restaurant. Carles Gaig is the owner and head chef of the restaurant and he prepares modern Catalan cuisine as well as some traditional dishes. The business has an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere and is located in a house which is more than a century old.

Some of the chef’s specialties on the menu are cod cannelloni with spinach, oyster in champagne with a touch of caviar, red mullet in a typical Catalan sauce accompanied with leek purée and for dessert pineapple or cherry mousse sorbet. The restaurant also has a large selection of wines.
