1 Foia del Verdader,
23 miles North East of Alicante

Here is the place for lovers of the creatures great and small from Asia, Europe and America. This zoo park has cleverly designed enclosures to benefit the animals with good use of space. Also the visitor is brought as close to the action as possible with what the park calls “Zooimmersion.” You can see elephants, tigers and salt water crocodiles go about their lives of prowling, preening and playing in the water features. There are audio guide tours to inform you a bit more about the attractions, restaurants, shops, ATMs, parking and buggy and locker rental to make your day as smooth running and enjoyable as possible.

Amongst the novelties you will find here are camel rides, zip wires and special houses of creepy crawlies for those who like insects and reptiles.

The other piece of the park is the perfect place to cool off after visiting the animals – one of the best Benidorm waterparks – Aqua Natura! Hundreds of feet of slides and flumes await you. If you feel like being thrown around a bit – try the challenge of the wave pool or swim with the sharks in the aquarium area!

For those with calmer water activities in mind, don’t worry – there is a spa, sun deck and children’s pool.
