Parque das Nações

Nations’ Park in Lisbon is an area in the north-east of the city which was reformed and renovated to host the Expo ’98 World Exhibition. Since then, it has become the business and entertainment centre of Lisbon and has a number of attractions, bars, restaurants, as well as a shopping mall.

Climb Vasco da Gama Tower, the tallest building in Lisbon, and have a romantic meal at its restaurant served with fantastic views of Lisbon. Take the cable car from the tower to the bottom where you will find the most popular attraction in the park, Lisbon Aquarium.

Atlantic Pavilion Concert Hall is the venue used for concerts held in the city as well as shows. Or if you are travelling with children, visit the kid’s park, themed gardens and Music Garden. This area is also home to Oriente Station, (Estaçao de Oriente) a contemporary Station used for exhibitions, filming sessions and fashion parades.

Take a ride on the mini tourist train and walk beside Tague River. This is an excellent place to visit during your summer holidays in Lisbon with around 40 restaurants where you can sit at the open-air terrace and have a bite to eat.
