Auckland International Airport lies 10 miles to the South of downtown Auckland. Most flights to Auckland come via Polynesia, Los Angeles or South East Asia or from Australia.

The airport also handles frequent domestic flights to Wellington, Christchurch, Bay of Islands and other destinations in New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Shuttle and bus services can take you directly from the airport or to neighbouring towns. Taxis are also easy to find outside the Jean Batten International Terminal.
