The French Café is located in the very centre of Auckland.

210 Symonds Street

The French Café defies its name a little with its comfortable, contemporary surroundings and á la carte menu. Since opening in 2000, the head chef, Simon and Maître’d – owner, Creghan have built up a solid reputation for their interpretation of French cuisine and the standard of discrete, but not overly formal service.

The menu is revised every month to take advantage of the best seasonal produce and keep return visitors interested. The premises offer you space to enjoy the fresh air outside or inside; the sunny, airy space was created with sophistication and relaxation in mind. The well-proportioned food is set off by a carefully considered wine list to complement your meal.

This fine establishment of French food in Auckland is open from 6pm, except on Sundays, and is only open for lunch on Fridays.
