Amsterdam

Vondelpark was built in 1864 and is the largest park in Amsterdam and the most famous in the Netherlands. It welcomes around 10 million visitors every year who come to relax, or see one of the open-air concerts or festivals held in the park during the summer.

It is situated near the famous Leidseplein Square and many other galleries and museums which makes it a good place to relax after visiting the neighbouring area. Some of famous attractions in the park are the statue of the poet Vondel, the seven plays areas for children and the Film Museum which shows films in the evening.

You can also hire rollerblades, do sport or just relax in the park and in the summer, you can go to one of the open-air concerts or see a theatre production with should entertain the children.
