Café de Tacuba was opened in 1912 and is housed in an old 17th century house which still has its original decor and serves traditional Mexican food. It offers typical dishes such as Pollo Especial Tacuba and Tacuba Tacos, as well as lots of snacks such as antojitos.

It is located in the historic centre of the capital and has its original stain glass door and tiles which are decorated in typical Mexican style. This is one of the best options if you want to try enchiladas, stuffed chillies, tamales or moles and listen to live music.
