The Museo Nacional del Arte de México is the National Art Museum and shows a collection of Mexican and international art dating from the 16th century to the 20th century.

The museum houses a permanent collection of more than 3,000 masterpieces which will let you relive the history of Mexico taking you from 1550 to 1955. Two of the most popular galleries at the museum are the Western Assimilation Gallery and the Construction of a Nation Gallery.

In the Reception Room you will be able to see concerts and in the Lions patio there are shows and presentations. The museum offers activities and workshops as well as hosting temporary exhibitions.
