The Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City shows a permanent collection of works by some of the most renowned Mexican artists of the 20th century. The museum is home to works of art by Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, Frida Kahlo and Rufino Tamayo, and some of the most famous paintings in the museum are the Las dos Fridas by Frida Kahlo and La vendedora de Frutas by Olga Costa.

The masterpieces at the Modern Art Museum are divided among the six galleries of the museum and the gardens where there is also a collection of sculptures. The permanent collection comprises of paintings, sculptures, photographs and drawings.

There are guided tours of the museum or you can consult one of the reference books at the library for in-depth information about the displays. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions by Mexican and international artists.
