Tokyo has a temperate climate with mild weather all year round. There is usually a period of intense rain from the end of June until mid-July, and in August the temperatures do not usually increase more than 32C but the humidity can be stifling.

There are usually clear skies in the winter, although rain is common throughout the year. It sometimes snows during the winter, but not too heavily around the greater Tokyo area. The best time to visit Japan is in the spring when all is in bloom and the weather is more stable.
