Harajuku is renowned for its shops, offering both Japanese and western brands and it is also home to Yoyogi Park.

The most famous street in Harajuku is Omotesando Avenue which is lined with trees and sometimes compared to the Champs Elysées in Paris. This is where you will find the most popular and exclusive shops, restaurants and coffee shops in Tokyo. It is also where the most famous department store in the city, Omotesando Hills is located.

Takeshita Dori is another popular street in the Harajuku which is not as wide or long, but it is packed with shops and coffee shops.

If shopping is not your thing, why not take a breath of fresh air from the stress of the Japanese capital and go to one of the largest parks in Tokyo, Yoyogi Koen. This is where you can go for a walk, relax, hire a bicycle or do some sport. Inside this park you will be able to visit the most important Zionist Sanctuary in Tokyo, Meiji Jingu.
