The Writer’s Museum is dedicated to famous writers and was built to remember the city’s long literary tradition, as well as some of the most famous Irish writers such as James Joyce and Oscar Wilde.

The museum is located in an 18th century mansion and will give you a peek into the lives and works of these writers. The permanent collection includes cards, letters, personal items and portraits and there is also a room dedicated to children’s literature.
