Shopping in Dublin The two main shopping areas in Dublin are the areas around Grafton Street and Henry Street. So take a wander in this direction to make sure you take home a souvenir of your visit to the capital of the Emerald Isle. Grafton Street is renowned for its exclusive designer shops, boutiques and department stores such as Brown Thomas and Marks and Spencer. At the end of this street is St. Stephen’s Green Park which is opposite St. Stephen’s Green shopping centre. You will need a day to get a good look in this mall with its accessories and clothes shops, as well as restaurants and cafes. It is the perfect place to go on a typical wet Irish afternoon. In the Temple Bar area you will find book and clothes shops, markets, bars and restaurants. In the area around Henry Street you can enjoy shopping in some of the shopping centres such as Arnotts, The ILAC shopping centre, Jervis Street shopping centre and Clery’s Department store. Some of the typical Irish souvenirs you should watch out for are Celtic jewellery, knitwear, crystal and linen.
