Dame Street
Dublin 2

Dublin City Council is housed behind the walls of the Georgian Dublin City Hall which was built between 1769 and 1779. Having been restored between 1998 and 2000, the City Hall is now open to the public and hosts an exhibition called The Story of the City in its vaults. The walls of the building are outstanding and attract lots of visitors who come to see them and the city’s coat of arms which hangs in the hall.

The main entrance hall of the building, the Rotunda, can be hired for receptions and corporate events.
