Christchurch Place
Dublin 8

Christ Church Cathedral was built around 1030 and was originally a Viking church. The architecture of the current building dates back to 1180 when the archbishop of Dublin, John Cumin commissioned the redesign of the church. However, the building was redesigned again between 1871 and 1878.

One of the most popular attractions at Christ Church Cathedral is the crypt which is said to be the biggest in Ireland and dates back to the medieval period.
