Humayun’s Tomb was built in the 16th century by Haji Begum, the wife of Emperor Humayun and it is a complex of buildings surrounded by an enclosed formal garden. The most striking features which attract thousands of visitors to this mausoleum are the dome and its typical Mughal architecture.

Not only is the former Emperor Humayun buried in the white and yellow marble tomb but there are also many other members of the Mughal Empire resting there.
