Laxmi Naryan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir is one of the largest temples in New Delhi which was built in 1938 and is located to the west of Connaught Place. Birla Mandir is dedicated to the god of prosperity, Laxmi, and was opened by Mahatma Gandi on the condition that anyone, no matter their caste or religion, could enter.

Birla Mandir is one of the main attractions in New Delhi is usually very busy during the Hindu Festivals, the most famous of which are Krishna, Janmashtami and Deepawali.
