Oktoberfest Oktoberfest 2014 : 20 September – 5 October Oktoberfest in Munich, or October Festival, was initially a celebration of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen’s wedding which was held on 12 October 1810.
