Prinzregentenstrasse 1

The Haus der Kunst Museum was opened in 1937 south of the famous Englisher Garden. It was originally called Haus der deutschen Kunst or House of German Art and was built to display a collection of what the Third Reich considered good art. At the end of the Second World War the museum was divided up into small rooms, each used to display temporary exhibitions.

Today, the museum is still used for temporary and visiting art exhibitions and it is also home to one of the most exclusive nightclubs in Munich, P1. This is supposedly THE place for the beautiful people to be, if you can make it past the dress-code challenge.
