Visit Munich’s Beer and October Festival Museum which is dedicated to the history of the city’s brewing traditions and famous beer festival. This museum has four floors which display objects, photos and historical references to brewing processes and traditions, and the origins of perhaps the most famous beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest. Find out how brewing techniques have changed over the years and see some of the equipment involved in the process.

There are guided tours available of the museum which is located in a medieval building which dates back to 1327. After visiting the museum, have a drink in the pub which is open from 5 p.m. until midnight, and is closed on Mondays.
