La Villette

The biggest science museum in Europe is Cité des sciences et de l’industrie or Science City and is located within the 62 acre La Villette park in Paris. This Science city hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions and has a planetarium which is one of the most popular attractions at the park, along with the 3D cinema Cinaxe.

The Science City has a cyber base, conference rooms and area for children where they are encouraged to learn and explore.

There is also an IMAX cinema called Géode which shows 3-D films on a giant screen.

Apart from Science City, there is also Zénith theatre and a cultural programme with different concerts and an open-air cinema.
