The main shopping area in Prague is around Wenceslas Square. Small shops and boutiques are located near Old Town Square and in Malà Strana, or alternatively if you are looking for designer clothes you should go to Pariszka Street. Souvenir shops can be found in Na Příkopech.

The most popular souvenirs which you can buy in Prague are Czech crystal and puppets. The tradition of crystal goes back to 1200 when it was formed in the monasteries in the North of the Bohemian region. Art Décoratif on Melantrichora street is a beautiful souvenir shop where you can buy typical glassware, jewellery and fabrics to take home as a souvenir.

If you are looking for fresh fruit and vegetables, sweets and honey you should go to Havelská Market in Staré Město. Or if you want to shop til you drop, Slovanský Dům is the place to go as it is the main shopping mall in Prague and it also has cinemas and restaurants.
