Mozartova 169

Bertramka is the place where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived during his visits to Prague between 1787 and 1791. The estate dates back to the 17th century and it is said to be where Mozart finished his opera Don Giovanni, directed for the first time in the Estate Theatre of Prague in October 1787.

Today, this building hosts a collection of documents, manuscripts, letters, photos and instruments relating to Mozart’s period in Prague. The visit includes a tour of the gardens where you will see a bust of Mozart. The house remains as it was when it was built and it is used to host concerts.
