Rio de Janeiro

Leblon is an urban beach with less tourists than Copacabana and Ipanema beaches which makes it ideal for those travelling with little ones. It is under a mile long and is separated from Ipanema by a canal which links Rodrigo Freitas Lagoon with the sea.

At the end of Leblon beach is Morro Dois Irmãos which is one of the mountains which characterises Rio de Janeiro and which has a park and viewpoint. Many people like to go running or cycling at Leblon during the day. It comes alive at night and is a popular place for young people looking to party.
