European Parliament is divided into three working areas: its headquarters are located in Strasbourg, and the other two are found in Luxembourg and Brussels. European Parliament has a very influential role in the European Union as it is where laws are made and control is administered for the European Commission.

If you want to take a guided visit of European Parliament, tours are organised from Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Friday mornings. You can also attend parliamentary session which is open to the general public. Visits to the building are free but you must be over 14 years of age and have valid identification. You cannot book the visit in advance.

It is a contemporary building made of glass and steel and after your visit you can take a wander around Leopold park.
