One of the most popular museums in Belgium is the Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art. Is Belgium the capital of the comic book? You may ask yourself this question after leaving this museum.

Located in a spectacular Art Nouveau department store designed by Victor Horta, is the Belgian Centre for Comic Strip Art. This museum covers three floors dedicated to the wonderful world of comic strips. See everything which is dedicated to making them; drawing boards, mock-ups, sketches, cartoons. During your visit you will discover how Tintin, the Smurfs and Siprou where created. There are seven permanent exhibitions, a number of temporary exhibitions, as well as a library and bookshop where you will find your favourite comics.
