Macquarie Street,

Macquaire Street is found in the Central Business District in Sydney and stretches from Hyde Park to Sydney Opera House and it is lined with historical buildings.

The State Library of New South Wales is one of the buildings on the street and it houses more than five million books and hosts temporary exhibitions. Other buildings in Macquaire Street are the Parliament House, Sydney Hospital, the Mint House Museum and finally Hyde Park Barracks which were built between 1817 and 1819.
