This coffee shop has served artists, politicians and office workers since the start of the 20th century and some of its most famous clients have been the likes of Jorge Luís Borges, García Lorca and Carlos Gardel.

There is live jazz music as well as tango and you will have the chance to try some typical dishes from Buenos Aires such as leche merengada. The cafe is decorated with old photographs, poems and busts which all have some a story behind them.
