Red Nose Day, 14 March 2014

Red Nose Day or Comic Relief is a national event which aims at helping people all over the UK and the rest of the world. Since it was inaugurated on Christmas Day 1985, it has worked to raise money to finance projects to help some of the poorest countries and individuals worldwide.

The event inspires the country to do charity and just about everyone takes part…..from celebrities to school children and grannies….the most important thing is to raise money while doing something fun in order to fulfil the aim of the project -“a just world free from poverty.” Anyone can take part on Comic Relief. In fact, by simply buying a red nose or another red nose goodie you are contributing to the funds.
