Portstewart Red Sails Festival
This is one of the most popular family summer events in Northern Ireland. The festival is organised and run by the Portstewart Community Association's Festival Committee. During the last week in July, the organisers plan a programme of events which are suitable for locals, tourists and children. Events and activities range from craft fairs, karaoke competitions, fancy dress parades, a battle of the bands competition and art exhibitions. To mark the end of the festival there is a fireworks display on the Saturday night.

myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed red sails in 2008 and intend to be there again this year. keep up the good work.
