Located in a 16th century building at the top of the Royal Mile is the Witchery, an award winning restaurant which is considered the best in the city with spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle. It has even welcomed a list of stars over the years, such as Ewan MacGregor, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones and Andrew Loyd Webber.
The Witchery is ornately decorated and has a magic atmosphere which makes it the perfect place for a romantic meal with a number of dining rooms to choose from, such as the Witchery Dining Room, the Secret Garden or a suite.
Some of specialities at the restaurant are the Scottish lobster and rock oysters, as well as the Angus beef fillet and the garlic broth.
