Edinburgh International Festival
One of the most anticipated events on the calendar is the Edinburgh International Festival. This is an annual event which starts mid-August and lasts about three weeks, ending at the start of September.
A programme including opera, dance, classical music and theatre is organised for the event and performances are held in The Hub, which is Edinburgh's Festival Centre and the Royal Lyceum Theatre.
Included in the Edinburgh Festival Programme is the Film Festival, the Book Festival, the Military Tattoo and the Fringe Festival.
