Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival
Get the Cannes experience with even warmer weather at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. Now in its 45th year, this is an established celebration of the big screen premieres including both national and international films. The festival hosts films in town and also in the splendour of the ancient stone amphitheatres nearby.
The festival has expanded to include the Eurasia Film Festival, now in its 4th year. Both festivals run in cooperation to bring you film competitions for newcomers, old favourite classics, regional blockbusters and quirky alternative cinema. The Eurasia festival provides English film-goers with several titles in their own tongue with subtitles in Turkish.
If you want to experience Antalya at its liveliest, studded with stars and buzzing with energy, this is the time to go. This event runs every year in mid-October.
