Madison Square Green has hosted many important events and it has been used by a number of well known artists such as Madonna, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra for his New York, New York performance.

It was opened in 1989 for the international&lt;strong&gt; ice hockey championships &lt;/strong&gt;and is a popular tourist attraction today because of its unique structure. The stadium is used for hockey and basketball matches.

Some of the most famous artists who have performed in the stadium are U2 and Bruce Stringsteen. The annual &lt;strong&gt;Melodifestivalen &lt;/strong&gt;is held at the stadium and it was also used to host the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2000.

The Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy or Bercyis is an indoor sports stadium which is in the shape of a pyramid and the outer walls of the stadium are covered with grass. The stadium can hold between 3,500 and 17,000 spectators and it is used for concerts as well as sporting events.

&lt;p&gt;
There is a huge &lt;strong&gt;ice-skating rink&lt;/strong&gt; which is very popular in the winter. The gardens around the stadium cover around 35 acres. The stadium is 55,000 square metres and was opened in 1983 at the edge of the River Seine. It is near to other famous places such as the &lt;strong&gt;National Library&lt;/strong&gt; and the &lt;strong&gt;Finance Ministry&lt;/strong&gt;.
