Stockholm

The Botanic Garden in Stockholm was founded thanks to a donation made to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences by the historian Bengt Bergius and his brother. The garden is currently located in an area outside Stockholm called Frescati as it was moved from its original location in 1885.

The garden's main feature is the Edvard Anderson Greenhouse which is divided into different areas which reproduce different climates. There are also cactuses growing outside the greenhouse.

The garden has various buildings such as the Victoria Building which houses a giant water lily also called Victoria. It is a nice place to visit all year round and is the ideal location to relax and take in some fresh air.
