The annual craft fair in Madrid is held between 20 December and 5 January and it has been running for nearly 12 years. It aims to promote craft making in Madrid and has become a popular event which attracts locals and tourists in search of a special gift or inspiration for their own designs and crafts.
There are around 180 stalls at the Madrid market every year and you will find anything from handmade bags and jewellery, to dolls, chairs, hand painted plates, mugs and blankets. There is something to suit everyone's tastes at the market and be assured that you will find the perfect present to take home for someone.
The market is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. until 9.30 p.m.
