Tibidabo Amusement Park is located on a mountain overlooking Barcelona and so it boasts magnificent views of the city. The park was opened over 100 years ago and remains one of the major icons of the city, offering amusements, shows, restaurants and shops to ensure you have a great day at the park.

Among some of the oldest rides at Tibidabo are the Avió which is a flight simulator and the Talaia, a Ferris wheel which is 550 metres above sea level, thus offering beautiful views over Barcelona. The latest addition to the park is the Pindol which is a free fall pendulum ride.
There are also shows such as the Correfoc which is a combination of a fireworks display and a street theatre involving devils. Krüeger Hotel is another show in which characters from horror films come back to life.
When visiting the amusement park it is also a good idea to visit the Esglesia del Sagrat Cor which is located beside it. It is a modernist cathedral which has a statue of Jesus Christ facing the city centre.
