Tibidabo amusement park comprises an amusement park located on Tibidabo Mountain, Barcelona. It was built back in 1899 making it one of the world’s oldest amusement parks and, thanks to its very privileged location, affords some spectacular views of the city.

Truly a fun day out for all the family it features twenty five rides and attractions for all ages, as well as entertainment, costumed characters, theatre, shows, games, restaurants and cafes. The Tibidabo Sky Walk area in particular hosts some of the amusement parks most popular rides, in addition to a lookout point where visitors and locals alike can enjoy beautiful views of Barcelona from 500 metres above sea level.

Also featuring amongst the most popular and oldest rides are the Avió flight simulator,  the Giradabo Ferris wheel, the Talaia which rises 50 metres up and down from the plaza, the Castell Misteriós haunted castle and the carousel, amongst many others.

Finally, visitors can enjoy the shows there including the Correfocs which feature a combination between a firework display and street theatre with devils, and the Castellers (Human towers), amongst others.

Whilst you are visiting the Tibidabo amusement park make sure you stop by the stunning Sagrat Cor Church, also located on the summit of mount Tibidabo, crowned with an impressive bronze statue of Jesus.
