Auckland Lantern Festival
The Auckland Lantern Festival is an annual event which has become one of the most anticipated on the summer calendar in Auckland. This festival is held to bring the Chinese New Year celebrations to a close and during the event you will see hundreds of shining lanterns in Albert Park.
Apart from the great atmosphere, you will also be able to see street performances, martial arts displays, and there are art and crafts stalls as well as fortune tellers.
