Van Gogh Museum

Paulus Potterstraat 7
Amsterdam

The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam houses around 200 paintings and 500 drawings by Van Gogh and some of his contemporaries such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Gaugin and Monet. The museum has organised Van Gogh's work into five stages representing his life: The Netherlands, Paris, Arles, Saint Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise. The majority of his art work can be found in this museum.

The permanent exhibition can be found in the main building of the museum and the temporary collection, which displays paintings from the 19th century, can be found in the exhibition wing.
