Connaught Place, Delhi
Connaught Place is a square situated in the heart of New Delhi within the famous Connaught Circus. It is a buzzing area which is nothing less than the financial and commercial centre of the city and is packed with shops, restaurants, bars, hotels, banks and offices, not to mention traffic. It is the thoroughfare of the city as there are seven streets which branch off from Connaught Place and if you walk to the centre of Connaught Circus you can take a sigh of relief when you reach Central Park which is a huge green oasis of peace and tranquillity.
