Tour de France
The Tour de France began in 1903 and since then it has become one of the most important European bicycle races. This year the Tour de France will take place from 4 July until 26 July and it starts in Monaco. The race comprises of stages, and so there is one-day race of each stage. The race takes part in many well-known French cities such as Marseille, Perpignan, Montpellier and it even runs into Spain and Andorra sometimes..but it always ends in the capital-Paris.
If you are on holiday in France during the race, you may have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of it. It is a spectacular event and well worth seeing should you have the opportunity.
